RE: Marketing Cloud Admin Maintenance Module
Remember when you passed your Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator cert?
You studied, passed, updated LinkedIn, and maybe even got a raise.
But Salesforce keeps talking about another maintenance module for you to do (so you can maintain your cert).
And that notification is just sitting in your inbox. Unopened and Ignored.
Another Salesforce update and thing to learn.
Sometimes it feels like the learning never ends.
You already earned your cert. So why do you have to keep proving that you know your stuff?
The Pain
If you ignore the maintenance cert long enough, your Marketing Cloud Engagement Admin certification expires.
And when it expires, you don't just lose a badge on your resume.
You lose credibility in interviews.
You get passed over for projects that need certified Marketing Cloud engagment admins.
Your promotion goes to someone else who has the cert.
I've watched hard working people lose opportunities because they put off a 30-minute maintenance module.
