Marketing Cloud Coding (Learn or get left behind)

A lot of people want to learn how to code in Marketing Cloud.

From my experience, being able to code will take you as far as you want to go in the Salesforce ecosystem.

But it's intimidating to a lot of people.

I know it was for me when I first started learning how to code.

But thankfully I got through it because now, I'm able to charge $100+ per hour for my time.

And the best part about it is (I know it's not going out of demand any time soon).

So if you want to:

The three languages to start with in Marketing Cloud are SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS.

I code with SQL most of the time in Marketing Cloud.

AMPscript and SSJS are important, but SQL is the foundation.

There's not a day that goes by where I don't use SQL.

AMPscript and SSJS on the other hand, I don't use everyday.

So if there's a language where you'll get the most bang for your buck, it's SQL.

Knowing those languages will take you as far as you want to go in Marketing Cloud.

Learn them, master them, and become the master of your destiny.
