RE: - You have what you need to succeed & be great.

Let’s go back in time for a moment…
As a kid, I grew up playing football in the state of Oklahoma.
If you know anything about Oklahoma, then you know how much we love the sport of football.

Growing up, I would watch the mindset of the best players in the NFL.
Something that caught my attention as a kid was when an NFL Cornerback said this about his performance:
"As a player, It's okay to have a bad play. But you have to learn from that play, and forget about it before the next play happens."
How many times do we hold onto mistakes and let those mistakes to define us?
Just because you made a mistake, doesn’t mean you're defined by that mistake.
You have the power to learn from your mistakes.
Once you learn from them, you have the power to forget about it and continue living your life.
If you’ve played sports or done anything competitive, you know what I’m talking about.
Whatever you do in life, understand that you must learn from your mistakes.
But my question to you today is this...
How fast do you move on from your mistakes?
Do you let mistakes follow you around?
Or do you let mistakes go?
You’re human, you’re going to make mistakes.
You’re not perfect.
One thing I've noticed about myself this week is that there are levels of professionalism required to be a great Marketing Cloud Consultant.
There is a gold standard for excellence as a Marketing Cloud Consultant.
There are times this week that I haven't lived up to my gold standard.
Everybody has their own gold standard.
It’s up to each person to meet their gold standard every day.
When you don’t meet that gold standard, it's a missed opportunity to become the best version of yourself.
If you’re like me and you want excellence, then it can be easy to feel bad for making a mistake.
But I’m here to tell you that mistakes happen and mistakes are inevitable.
Life is a balance of:
Learning from your mistakes + Responding with a positive attitude.
Here are 5 Questions For You:
How do you talk to yourself when you’ve made a mistake?
Do you beat yourself up?
Do you talk negative to yourself?
Do you make yourself feel bad for the mistakes you've made?
Do you carry mistakes like a backpack on your back?
Or do you recognize that you simply missed the mark when it comes to your standard of excellence?
You don’t have to beat yourself up for making a mistake.
Implement what you learn from your mistakes and don’t feel bad for being human.
Brush your mistakes off and focus on the next play.
Summary of "Tap Into Your Greatness"
Everybody has their own gold standard from that they live by.
Sometimes you don't meet your standards. But that’s life, and you're human.
Ironically, Excellence doesn’t come from being perfect.
Excellence comes from the ability to make mistakes, learn from them, and move on in peace.
Excellence can only be achieved by shedding the negativity that holds us back.
I hope anything I've said helps you achieve Excellence within yourself this week.
It doesn't matter what you do, what has happened to you, or where you live...
Excellence has no ZIP Code, and you can tap into your greatness.
